16 Pages In
I started journaling almost a year ago.
Since then, I've gone through multiple notebooks, filled pages with ideas, thoughts, plans, questions, and things I probably would've forgotten if I hadn't written them down.
And somehow, in one of my current journals, I've only filled 16 pages.
Out of hundreds.
At first, that might sound like I haven't written much. But that's not really how I see it.
To me, those 16 pages means16 pages of thoughts that I decided were worth putting somewhere outside brain
I've learned that journaling isn't necessarily about filling an entire notebook or writing every single day. Sometimes it's one sentence. Sometimes it's a page. Sometimes you open the notebook with no idea what you're going to write and end up filling pages. Helping me feel better.
And sometimes, you don't write anything at all.
That's okay.
I've started to believe that writing down your thoughts is one of the simplest ways to understand yourself better. When everything is happening in your head at once, putting it on paper can make things feel a little clearer.
